ABOUT US
In 2017, Torchbearer Reentry was established as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization in the State of Texas with the objective to assist individuals whom have been released from jail or prison.
Our drive is to successfully reintegrate participants back into their lives and their communities through personalized life coaching, peer-to- peer mentoring, life skills/employment training classes, and spiritual guidance that support the whole person.
WHAT WE DO
TR addresses the precise needs for men and women reentering the community by
-Addressing the needs of each participant/family through individualized case management and supported services.
-Equipping participants with the knowledge and assistance needed to support a plan of action for implementing sustainable changes to their lives.
-Assisting in creating a positive social network for each participant making their transition towards a successful road to self-sufficiency.
OUR MISSION
TR’s mission is devoted to empowering individuals and the communities through education, support, and outreach in order to decrease recidivism, make safer communities, save taxpayer dollars, and bridge lives together.

Our Vision promotes inspired change in the lives of men and women through risks and needs assessment, cognitive development skills, and access to resources and social services that ensure a transitional outcome from jail to community.
